Personal Post About Last Few Days
Thanks to everyone for the good vibes and prayers. It means a lot to me and my family. My friends and family meant so much to my dad and I know that it’d warm his heart knowing how much everyone in our lives care about us. These last few days have been beyond hard for me and my family.
Thanks to everyone who came tonight for visitations and to the people who couldn’t make it but was sending love and was “there mentally”. My heart goes out to anyone who has lost a parent or close family member.
My dad was an amazing man. We’d bicker sometimes but that’s expected, to argue a little with a parent; people who care about each other the most argue over the dumbest things. He’d give you his last dollar and clothes from his body of you needed it. He has touched so many lives and it’s weird how something like this really puts it in the spot light for you. He was always there for me when I needed to talk to someone, besides mom who also has been there for me as well. Both of them have took in my friends like their own children.
I know some of y’all won’t read this and the ones who do might not be religious, but I really do believe I was blessed with my parents, family and friends. My dad (and mom) have raised me, and my brother, to be the way that we are and I couldn’t be more proud to be their daughter. He had been through so much within the last 10 years. I believe he had made his peace because I’d catch him with his hands folded while he slept the last few weeks. (I’m just pouring out my soul, ignore if you must it is my blog). I won’t go into too much detail or I’ll derail this entire post.
Rest in peace dad. I love you soooo freaking much. I’ll watch mom and Michael like a hawk because you know they can be sassy about a lot of things.
